Hi,

We are facing the problem, where Digital Receptionist not handing call over to Ring Group. It was working before, but suddenly stopped.

But it is handing over call to any individual extension. I am sharing screenshots of DR and RG.

Restart the PBX services and try again.

Also check your system resources are enough.

@kieferschild - Thank you for your quick response. Rebooting did not solve it. It was working fine before.

@kieferschild - Thank you again. The post is of similar topic, and the configuration and everything is proper here. Unlike the topic discussion. Nothing has changed. Only the DR handing over to RG has stopped suddenly.

I believe the confusion the system is having is, there is a SIP Trunk Route Rule, and there is a Inbound Rule. Which one should be working.

If you call the IVR internally does it call your RG?

After lot of testing I have come to a conclusion that his problem is happening with one of the SIP trunk. We are contacting the service provider. For all the rest of the SIP trunk, the DR is handing over the call to RG. As I had mentioned earlier it was working before. It stopped suddenly. The service provider was working on the SIP trunk, and they may have disabled the facility.

When DR is handing over to the RG, DR puts the call on hold. When the DR is putting the call on hold, the call is getting disconnected and hence, it is not reaching the RG. So when the call is getting put on hold, the trunk is dropping the connection.
