Hi All,

I'm trying to set the below but really struggling to get my head round how to set this up.

I have an internal "IT Dept" that has different opening hours that the business. I would like to setup the following flow:

External Numbers & Internal Digital Reception Number During Office Hours - Call Ring Group
External Numbers & Internal Digital Reception Number Outside Of Office Hours - Divert to a voicemail box

I can't seem to be able to set the opening hours on the digital receptionist that's outside of the Org opening hours. I need the call flow for opening hours to be for both internal calls and external DDI.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You can specify office hours on a per number basis by using the inbound rules.

Yes however this only applies to the DDI - I need this to apply to the internal number too.

Internally you should create a dummy extension that acts as an IVR firewall with specific hours to forward to wherever.

Would I set this extension to be disabled and set available forwarding hours to "If no answer in 0 seconds" forward?

You dont need to disable it but can check "disallow external calls".

You can use forwarding rules exceptions to create routes based on time of day.

Thanks - When using exceptions - It asks me to input "Calls From" I want this to apply to all internal calls. Is this possible?

See screenshot:

Calls from 100-999 for example if this is your internal range.

Just want to add that for exceptions you can actually also use * as a wild card to catch all caller ids so essentially all calls.
