Disable Windows Client Updates

Hello, is there a way to disable the automatic update for the Windows Client?
It is an admin nightmare if normal users can update their phones before we can test it.
We want to deploy the updates by ourselves like we used to do in the past.

Hi Dario,

Unfortunately no, at the moment you cannot prevent the update from happening. The user will get a prompt on their client when they launch it, and they can choose to update or cancel.

We will see how we can improve this behavior though in an upcoming release.

Would really prefer the possibility to disable, just got another call from a user. Config overwritten due to the update.

Yes, that was a separate issue that will be resolved in the next release, along with disabling the automatic update of the client (unless you click "Automatically update 3CX" or it is a service pack update)
