Hey Guys,

I've got a question:
In our company, if someone doesn't pick up a call, the call will be forwarded to other employees. If they don't pick it up, they all get a "missed call" notification. Is there a way to disable that notification from ring group calls, because they should only be notified of missed calls if they miss a call directly addressed to them and not if they miss a general call, which was redirected, because someone else didn't pick up the call.

Thank you! :)

Queues can do that. Not ring groups.

@Rhyne
When you say that they should only receive a missed call notification if they miss a call directly addressed to them do you mean calls made specifically to their extension and not calls made to a Ring Group they are apart of? If yes, then as Frederick mentioned it is not possible, you would have to use Call Queues.

If however you mean that they should not receive a missed call notification if a call to the Ring Group they are a part of did not ring them specifically for any reason (for instance they were busy on another call) then do bear in mind that this is how it already works, if an extension is not polled for a Ring Group call, then it will not receive a missed call notification. Are you saying that this is not the case?

You can find more information regarding missed call notifications when using Ring Groups here(slide 8): https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/basic/ring-groups/
