Hi

(facts and environment simplied for the question :) )

We have 30 users who have desk phones, but due to cornavirus have been working from home with the 3cx smartphone app.

Now, we need to furlough 10 of these users, and this means disabling the remote 3cx app and diverting all their calls to another number. The law does not permit them to get any calls when furloughed and its a regulated environment and highly audited so cannot take the risk.

On site, phones go via an SBC to a 3rd party hosted internet based PBX.

I cannot see a way of simply disabling the remote app? All I can see from searching is the extension needs to be deleted - but as this is temporary its a pain

As the PBX is internet based, and the phones are via SBC tunnel, I'm not sure tunnel settings will do anything?

Under restrictions there is "disable extension".

not able to test this at the moment - but what does this do? The manual says "disable extension" - but does that disable phone and app - and what happens to incoming calls that I still want forwarding to another number? Would they still work if set on the extension divert or do I need to deal elsewhere?

(I'll play when I get in the office, just can't from afar)
Thx
