Display who picked up call

If an internal user is calling another internal user, and that call gets picked up by a different user, the calling phone still displays the person they called as opposed to the person who picked up.

I'd instead like the phone to display the name of the person who picked up the call.
Is this possible?

Probably you can monitor using BLF keys or switchboard, no other idea.

If 3CX supports this (and it may be that they simply don't), then enabling it, probably requires that the extension supports re-Invites, which, I believe, is enabled by default.

Possible Feature suggestion, if it is currently not supported.

The short answer is that this is currently not implemented.

To explain a bit the process though, when some other extension picks up a call either using *20* pickup code or a BLF, the Calling Party is completely unaware of this, so that endpoint never receives any new information. As @leejor said, technically this is possible and if it were implemented it would require a re-INVITE to update the information on the display.

You will notice that when you do a Blind Transfer however that this does happen, Calling Party does get updated with the new destinations name, but this is because this process involves a re-INVITE.
