Distinctive ringtone snom M700/M65/M85

hi

i have an issue with the distinctive ringtone on M700 snom since V16 or firmware update of the base 410B14?

i see the parameter which control the ringtone in M700 : https://helpdesk.snom.com/support/s...ted-ringtones-feature-supported-on-m300-m700-

i m ok with this the Remote Ring Tone Control it s enable

someone know if upgarding to 450B11 solve the problem or is it a 3cx issue ?

I am not sure if 3CX sends the alert-info in the sip header for these phones and this could be the reason it does not work.

You will have to use wireshark to confirm what is being send.

Jut to let you know, be careful with not supported firmware, almost 2months ago we tried to use last firmware with m700 and we got an issue when try calling emergency number (call failure). Why you need to use this new firmware as old supported one works great ? I strongly suggest you to stay with old one or make extensives tests to be 100% sure your system works perfectly fine in all cases.

Concerning ring tone, we now disable remote ring control in m700 to allow client to change ring tone on their phone (if its enable you can only change it for internals calls). Default ring tone with m25/m85 is horrible...
