Hiya,

Really simple question, I *thought* that when you divert an extension that no matter what it's status (available, DND, Away) that if no phone was connected to the extension it would always follow the "Busy or not connected" path that's configured in the Available status.

A client put one of these extensions in DND last night and the DND forward had an old number that shouldn't have been in there so it diverted to the wrong place. Am I to assume 3CX respects the status after all?

Thanks

Graham

That is correct, it does respect the status. The "Busy/Unregistered" forwarding rule is actually only available under the "Available" Profile Status, meaning that it will only apply when the extension is in that profile status:

Note: Exceptions supersede all Forwarding rules.

Thanks Chris, I'll make sure they either leave as available or change the destination on all statuses in future!
