"Do not show extension in 3cx company phonebook" not working?

I have an extension that is set to "Do not show extension in 3CX company phonebook" but it shows up in the Web client and in call-by-name. Unless this is a bug, I don't know what this setting actually accomplishes. We had hoped this setting would eliminate it in call-by-name but instead, I had to rename the self_id_prompt.wav file for the extension to remove it from call-by-name. We are on version 16.0.5.622

If you delete the id_prompt.wav from the user it will remove it from being accessible via dial by name.

Providing that extensions doing a search are not in the same group as the extension you're trying to hide or the extension is not in a group that has "publish group information to all extensions" then then hiding the extension is possible.
