Do standard phone templates get backed up in nightly config backup?

We recently upgraded from v18 Update 8 to Update 9a. After the update, we noticed a couple of differences in how our snom phones operate. Both pre- and post-update, we're using the standard snom phone template, no edits or customizations. I assumed I could compare the contents of the snom.phone.xml file from the source location of /var/lib/3cxpbx/Data/Http/Templates/phones/snom.ph.xml against a copy of the config backup from before applying Update 9a. It doesn't appear that the config backup contains any of the standard settings files like snom.phone.xml. Others see the same thing with the standard template not being included in the config backup?

Supported devices templates are not backed up as they are built-in 3CX. Each updates comes with new templates.

Thanks for confirming. It makes sense that standard (or "out of the box") templates wouldn't be backed up in the config backups.

The particular issue I'm looking at is users are reporting ring tones have changed since applying Update 9a. We were using the standard snom D735 phone template prior to and still after applying Update 9a. I was hoping if I compared the before and after templates any differences would show.

We're scheduled to upgrade to v20 Update 2 (maybe 3 if final release ready by then), so I'll probably wait to investigate further if the users are still reporting the ring tones are different.

Thanks again.
