Does 3cx auto update Debian?

Hi, sorry for a newbie question but could not find a definitive answer.
I have just installed 3CX using the Debian ISO and was wondering if I had to manually patch Debian or does the 3cx updater take care of it?

The built in 3CX updater does take care of many of the debian updates as well, since the 3CX updates themselves are utilizing apt. You are also better off letting 3CXs updater handle the updates so that you don't cause any inconsistencies with its update scripts, or get into a situation where something that conflicts gets installed.

Thanks, so leaving 3cx to automatically install updates will also update Debian..
