Does the SBC automatically change Local SIP/RTP Ports?

So it looks like the SBC is changing the local SIP port on the phone, but it I go into the phone GUI, that change isn't reflected. Also if I search the config for that specific phone I can't see any mention of port 5062.

Is this normal behavior?

Hi,

The SBC is not changing the phone ports, but what you see above is indeed normal.
The IP column in the Phones section is explained like so:

172.16.10.37:5062 (the phone listening on port 5062) via SBC 172.16.10.95:5060 (the SBC listening at 5060)

Interesting.. When I search the phone config I don't see any mention of port 5062. When you say the phone is listening on that port, do you mean that SIP is listening on that port?

Yes, we are talking about SIP in particular, so just as the PBX has say port 5060 to listen for sip messages, so do the phones. However, the port does not necessarily have to be 5060 on the phones just because the PBX is, each endpoint can have its own random port. This does not affect your system and should not cause any issues with functionality.
