Hi team,

I am opened a suggestions here.

The ITPS is delivering to my customer 's office a CPE route and a UTP connection and SIP signaling to connect to the PBX interface with point-to-point addressing. The problem is that our solution is in the cloud and we had not foreseen a SIP to SIP connection. We had planned for an E1 Connection and a 3CX approved Gateway to do the conversion. The gateway will be register in the 3CX.

As the PBX is in the Cloud, I would have to use an SBC Gateway to receive this connection. My customer asked if we could make a VPN between the ITPS CPE and the Cloud Firewall to configure the SIP trunk, without the need to use an SBC Gateway?

Which could are you in, AWS/Google/Azure?

Hi @the_jackal_br2001

I theory it is possible to connect your cloud PBX to the CPE box of the provider via VPN but I would not recommend it. I would recommend going with a provider that can deliver a trunk directly to your cloud PBX without the need of a CPE.

Hi @YiannisH_3CX ,

The engineer from ITSP told the samething. I will have a meeting with my end customer and explain the situation.
