Hello, good afternoon.
We currently have a 3CX PBX installed on our own server, working correctly, with a license for 16 simultaneous calls.
We need to downgrade/change that license to 8 simultaneous calls.
I would like to know if this change can be done directly on the same installation, without reinstalling the whole PBX, or if a fresh installation is required.
I would also like to know if it is possible to create a full backup of the current configuration and restore it later if we need to reinstall or change the license.
The PBX has approximately 40 extensions configured, SIP trunks, inbound/outbound rules, ring groups and other settings, so we want to avoid losing the current configuration.
My questions are:

My questions are:
- Can we change from 16 simultaneous calls to 8 simultaneous calls without reinstalling 3CX?
- Does the license change update automatically on the PBX?
- Is it necessary to change the license key or only renew/modify the current license?
- Can I create a full backup and restore it on another installation if needed?
- Does the backup keep extensions, trunks, rules, recordings, IVR, groups and general settings?
