Downgrade licence to fewer simultaneous calls

Can anyone tell me how to downgrade our 8SC Pro licensce to 4SC? I tried on my customer portal, but I can only "upgrade" to 16SC. We're up for renewal and 8SC is overkill for us (3 users).

We're self hosted and have been running for 3 years on the license. Everything is upgraded to the latest version, but I just cannot seem to find how to renew with a downgrade step? The setup has been self installed, with no dealer/reseller involved.

Technically you can't downgrade. You can email support and ask them to do it but I don't believe they're obligated to.
You can make sure you have a good backup, wait for the license to expire which will revert it to a 4SC Standard and then just upgrade to Pro. It should save your Pro settings (queues and recordings) but have the backup just in case.

I upgraded 3 years ago from a perpetual license into a 8SC license, why can't I just downgrade the license to 4SC and refresh the license in the installation. Especially when you can do this when increase to eg 16SC?

A small correction to what @pmterp said, it is not 3CX support you should contact but CSR (via our live chat) or your 3CX Partner. I recommend you do so a couple of weeks before the key's annual renewal.
