Hi I have a 3cx system (self-hosted on a VPS) and it's been using a PRO license for a year. My license is up for renewal in a week or so and I'm wondering if it was possible to downgrade to the SMB license.
My business is small and I can't afford the PRO license and I really don't need all those features of PRO.
I really only need:
  • SIP trunk (with 2 lines)
  • less than 20 extentions
  • Call Queue
  • IVR (if possible but not necessary
Is there a way to 'renew' a license but choose SMB instead of PRO???

Thank you :)

EDIT: After looking at the Prices on 3cx site, PRO allows for 'on-premises'/self-hosted. Is self-hosted on a VPS not allowed on the SMB license?

The SMB subscription is a fully hosted instance.

There is no migration path to the SMB from a professional or Enterprise license.

You would need to set everything up again from scratch.

However the SMB and the Pro is pretty much the same price, but you wouldnt have the additional cost of hosting the VPS. This is included in the SMB.

If you do decide to upgrade again to the PRO edition, there is again, no migration path between SMB and PRO.
