Download Provisioning-File?

Hello,

is it possible to download the 3CX-Phone provisioning-file, which usually is attached in the "welcome-Email"?

I actually have no SMTP Settings to send these mails but like to activate the 3CX Phones at the extensions without entering the profile datas manually.

Hi Comnia,

Yes, will you need to download the provisioning file (attached to the welcome email) and run it so that the 3CXPhone for windows provisions. You will also need to specify SMTP settings, otherwise you will not able to send out the welcome email.

In case your 3CXPhones are on the same intranet as the 3CXPhoneSystem, the simplest way is to use their PnP feature - they send a broadcast request for provisioning to the PBX (BUT the PBX should be configured on port 5060!) These requests are visible in the 3CXPhoneSystem's Management console under Phones tab, as "bold". There, by assigning them to a new or an already existing extension, the corresponding provisioning link will be sent to the phones so they will "auto-configure".
Otherwise, without the "welcome email", is pretty difficult.
