Downloadable Version of new Windows Store App

Hello everyone,

will there also be a "downloadable" version of the new store app (e.g. MSI or EXE)? On the Remote Desktop Servers (Windows Server 2019 and 2022) of our customers there is no Microsoft App Store available and therefore the users unfortunately cannot use the new 3CX Windows Store app.

Is this the intended approach for deploying the 3CX Client App? I have my doubts...

You need to use your software deployment fot this. This isnt 3cx this is Microsoft.

Maybe not completely related to the topic, but I tried to install 3cx windows store app through winget and used this script

winget install -e -i --id=9NW77489NGJ0 --source=msstore --accept-package-agreements

I tried to push it through VSA10 to clients but without luck. Anyone here with a solution?

Some of my (big) clients disable Windows Store on user computers for security reasons. So even with the .msix installer, impossible for them to deploy the new 3cx app. The msix installer is just a "shortcut" that works threw Windows Store.
So how to install the new app in this case?
For the moments, they have to continue using desktop app or PWA on 3CX V20...

The msix works without Microsoft store. That's not a shortcut. We deployed it several times on pcs and servers without the store

Download the MSIX file from 3CX in your partner portal downloads page and deploy it manually through your own processes.
