Hello

A customer is asking me to configure a BLF that dials 0 on her Yealink
They have a door intercom system that opens the door when they press 0
It's working when they press 0 on the keypad, but not when I configure "Speed Dial 0" as a BLF.
I suppose it's a DTMF issue.
So is it possible to trigger a "DTMF 0" from a BLF?

Thanks

Do you mean a custom speed dial and not a BLF?

Do they call the ext and then use the DTMF?

No they don't call the ext
The ext calls them, it's a door intercom so when someone push the buttons, the intercom dials the group.
Someone takes the call, asks who is it, then press 0 to open the door. The intercom gets the DTMF sound and opens the door

So whats the difference to them pressing 0 or a BLF key? Do they save any time?

Came across this....

Since unlatching the door only requires a single key-press. I don't know why they would find it more difficult to press the zero button, on the keypad, rather than pressing a BLF key.
Thanks @leejor
Too bad the guy is not giving the detailled solution on the linked article.
I think that is what's hapening when they press te BLF key (it puts the extension on hold instead of sending the DTMF)

If too difficult I'll tell them to press 0 instead
(it's just because we replaced an existing Wildix system where she had that key and used to it, she'll need to change her habits now I think)

Not a big habit change... just press 0 instead of a BLF that sends "0".

It's the same steps, time and accuracy.
