Hi,
Is it possible to prevent the Server Side Integration for Dynamics from setting the Status of the Call Journals to "Completed"?
I have a client that does not want this Status to be Updated.
Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul,

This value is hardcoded in the template, so the only way would be editing the template to provide a different value, and then upload it as a custom template. Please note that this will prevent any update from 3CX to be applied to your installation.

Hey @edossantos
I've scrolled through the entire XML template and cannot find the part that defines the Activity Status.
Can you show me where I can find this please? I understand the risk, but I would like to investigate it, and if necessary, I can roll it back to the original.
Thanks

After checking the template, I see that the activity status is not explicitely defined, so the default value is being applied. If you want to send a specific value, this is what you need to do:
  1. In the XML, in line 285 you have the scenario <Scenario Id="CreateCallActivity">. Inside the request in line 290 you have <PostValues>. You need to add the value there.
  2. The values are explained here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dy...nt/web-api/phonecall?view=dynamics-ce-odata-9

So, for example to set the status to "Open" you need to add a value there (the order of values is not important):
<Value Key="statecode" Type="Integer">0</Value>

Kind regards.

Thank you so much @edossantos .
This is awesome information to know, Whether I get to use it or not :)
Thanks
Paul
