Just wanted to let everyone know that it is definitely possible to do, though it is quite difficult due to the lack of documentation. Since 3CX has pretty much blocked any further conversation on previous forum posts I am creating a new one here.
I got it working with Dynamics CRM v8 with ADFS installed on a seperate server (Windows Server 2019).
Took my team a concentrated effort of about a week to finally get it working (working on it on and off)
