WebMeeting\'s usability and user-friendliness have shot up to new heights, improving remote working conditions just when you need it most! This latest update to the WebMeeting client restores order and control with an improved UI to facilitate multi-person meetings, as well as re-engineering moderation controls for better meeting management. It is ...

1) Obviously status.3cx.net serves a different purpose than the changelog for WebMeeting and due to this, the two cannot be merged.

2) Regarding the not updated changelog, for the moment we don't plan to provide changelog updates for WebMeeting like we did before as it is a cloud SaaS / IaaS service.

This hinders us from providing too much public information (changelog) about internal changes, fixes and features. We will consider updating the changelog in the close future with updates for least what is new on the front-end for platform users.

Hi Leonidas,

Even for IaaS/SaaS it's not unusual to provide information on changes, G Suite as well as Office 365 admins are informed on, any changes that impact users

Change default role for all participant before meeting, prefered during meeting setup.
Currently all webmeeting users have admin rights, they can turn in/off video and mic of other users, record meeting etc.

You could do that by using webinar

Nope, mic and video must be enabled by default!
Right now there is a meeting with 40 people, i need to cahnge role for each of them during the meting, it is crazy, each of them can kick me for that time, very sad.
This meetings are for city hall, the major is present and all his crew... So each user by deafult can kick out the major.
With that, they will start using zoom or even google.

Same problem is here but topic is locked

There must be some options to change roles before...

still you can do that with webinar. Check the settings, you can set it to audio and video being activated from beginning as well.

Indeed. For the moment however we won't be doing this due to the reasons i previously mentioned. This will change later on.

You can do this. I believe what you're looking for is in the Webclient.

Whilst creating the webinar you'll see that there's a cogwheel settings button on the same page. Clicking it will bring up a menu with several meeting options such as allowing users to have video during the meeting. Also since this is Webinar mode, users won't be able to perform moderator actions unless you explicitly assign them the role.

ON IOS now the app does not turn portrait, only remains landscape! can you look into this please ?

Hi there,

This is expected and is one of the changes in the latest iOS app update. The Android app will soon follow suite.

I am not sure I agree with the approach. The user will click on a link and see his screen flipping - the initial screen to join the meeting should remain confortable and readable while holding the phone. Then if absolutely necessary ( technical ? ) start the stream landscape but os it really that necessary ? I have seem a few people tonight in the meeting flipping it back and forth a few times dropping becuase they thought something was wrong.

This is NOT a criticism, I love you guys, I am just passing my honest feedback. It is not intuitive

Criticism or not, the feedback is very welcome.

Hi,
For us, we meetings work fine and at a good level of quality.
Only thing we are missing is to change planned meetings in time, text and also remove people from the schedule.
This is a must come to new versions, otherwise our management will kick 3cx out...
Thx, J

These are all very welcome changes, especially the performance enhancements. I do believe as above that priority should be given to edit/reschedule meetings. This is very basic functionality and should come before (or in parallel) to other UI enhancements.

To clarify (using 3CX direct eMail):
- Ability to edit/reschedule meetings, and have the updated meeting invitation sent out
- When deleting a meeting, an updated calendar invite is sent out that deleted the meeting from the particpants calendar
- Feeback from the calendar invite is sent to the organizer (i.e. who will or will not be attending).

Keep up the great work.

Edit: *** Disregard - Not a 3cx issue! ***
Im finding that I have to Copy/Paste the meeting URL into the webmeeting app manually - that’s a little bit of a pain.
Every time the link takes me to this page... webmeeting app is installed.

Please disregard - this is an issue originating from O365's ATP / URL rewrite. I had to add the Webmeeting URL to the ATP SafeLinks Whitelist/Do Not Rewrite URL.

There appears to be an issue with the rotation lock though.
Once in the app, turning the phone, the swipe up to exit the app is still from the long side up - it does not swiping up in normal portrait mode.
