Easiest to use IP handset? For technical illiterates

What is the most easiest to use handset on the market?

If you were to setup a new phone system for a completely technical illiterate person, which handsets would you choose?

If you want to keep it as simple as possible, and you have a number of handsets to provision, then it is best to stick with supported handsets that can be auto-provisioned. If you want to manually configure, and not a lot of them, then the 525g2 is a really nice phone (I have one and love it). But...it's best to have a good understanding of what you are doing, or, at least be somewhat familiar with the Cisco menu layout. The set offers a lot of features, including Wifi and Bluetooth, and may be over-kill for some. The line keys can also be provisioned to other PBXs or providers, which many sets cannot do. You will certainly learn a lot as you option it, but it may not be for you.

Oh... you didn't specify that it might be an end user "comprehension" issue. That being the case, then generally, the fewer buttons, the better. A lot will depend on what they are currently using. You probably want to aim for something similar that functions, or can be made to function in a familiar fashion. It is not cast in stone that you can't teach old dog new tricks, some people can surprise you. Just don't overwhelm with all of the features that they may not use right off the bat. As they become comfortable, these can be introduced later. You don't want to buy all new sets, only to discover that they have no flexibility for the future, and have to be replaced two years down the road.
