Easiest way for 2 front desk phones to check same vm box

What is the best way to go about getting 2 front desk phones to check the same mailbox with the mail button on the phone?

I have an old client that refuses to use vm to email, and cannot do anything past pressing the mail button on their phone to get to their phone, so teaching them dial codes is going to be a nightmare. Maybe there is a custom speed dial key I can make?

One way is to assign the two phone the same extension number. I have done this before in certain situations.

Nifty idea but let's say both are on the phone at the same time, how does that affect multiple calls? Especially if they put someone on hold on line 1 and 2?

I would propose manually configuring a 2nd account on each phone that is pointed to a shared extensions. Alternatively, you can look at our 3CX Voicemail Manager enhance group voicemail that turns on the MWI when a new group voicemail is received and turns it off for everyone if either person listens to the voicemail. If accept multiple calls is on, they will both be alerted to new calls when on a call (or off a call).

But I am unsure about a call being on hold, that would need to be tested.

No issues with both accepting calls if they are on calls. Have to ensure that the extension can "accept multiple calls".

Going back to this, is there no way to assign a blf key with a custom speed dial to check another extensions voice mails? I can't seem to figure it out if there is.
