the Problem is :!: :?:

when i am finishing the installation of 3cx phonesystem it dosn't show the window which i supposed to put the basic inforamtion(extensions,registration,........) so there is no first run
and the 3cx services dosn't work as well so i couldn't open the webpage of the 3cx and

when i tried to start them manually it gives the following error
'Error 1068 The Dependency Service or Group Failed To Start'

and when i run 3cxwizerd.exe or 3CXCP.exe it dosn't work and it gives error in EVENTVIEWER\ APPLICATION
.net Runtime 2.0 error event 5000

and when run one of the Exe file in the Phonesytem directory it gives the

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( PostgreSQL ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: postgres cannot access the server configuration file "C:/Program Files/3CX PhoneSystem/Data/DB/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory

i think the problem maybe in the registery entries but i reinstall the Program several times but it dosn't work
also i tried to reinstall .net framework 2.0 and asp.net but without anysuccess

i reallyu hope u can help me in that and Thanx in advance

Make sure you have .net Framework 2.0 installed first

Make that 3.5

Unfortunately 2.0 causes these problems with the services on some operating systems, as i said try 3.5 and it should all be good.

i tried to install .net 3.5 but without any success
anyway thank u guys

nobody has ever faced such this Problem????? :?:

Just to be sure you are using Version 8 and not some old Version 5 or 6.

Did you download this?
http://www.3cx.com/phone-system/download-links/

Get the latest PBX from here, because Parking Orbits not registering / Causing problems was an issue back in Version 5-6.

Install 2.0 and then run a windows update. That has always worked for me.
