Email address instead of extension number in welcome email

What could cause that not the extension number but the users email address is shown in the welcome email send by 3CX? There are no integrations with google or 365. This happens since update 6

Welcome mail:

Your Web Client Login
https://mypbx.nl:5001/webclient

Login using "email address" and password "password"

Strange thing when i put my emailadress (different domain) under the extension and resend i get the welcome email im used to.

When i put the users email address back again and resend im getting the welcome email with the emailadres instead of extension number.

Please note that the described scenario is expected. After Update 6, the initial welcome email is using your email address instead of the extension number.

The system will always try to send the welcome email using the email address as the username.
If no email address has been added for an extension, then the welcome email will include the extension number as the username instead of the email address.

Additionally, if two extensions share the same email address in the welcome email the extension number will again be used as the username.
