Hello,

I have the daily call report set up to email on a daily schedule, but this simply includes a link to the PBX in order to log in and download the reports.

Is it at all possible, by way of a third party add-in or even better, out of the box, to include the reports in an email? Either directly within the email, in a table, or as a PDF/CSV attachment? I can't see any options along these lines within the GUI.

I see this is something that has previously been requested / asked for but this was a couple of years ago, so I'm hoping it's possible now.

Many thanks,

Jamie

This is the way 3CX designed , you receive link by mail and need to see reports from browser.

Hi Jamie,

To be brutally honest, I don't spend any time with the canned 3CX reports, so I can't offer much guidance there. However, what I can offer are other possible solutions.
  1. You could build your own custom reports by processing the optional CDR files (provided the information you need is in the CDR data). If you need some help processing CDR files, our Exporter tool can process CDR files in real-time and put the data in a SQL database.

  2. In this post here it says:

When receiving an email with reports there are 2 links included. One for public and one for downloading it internally if your pbx is set up with local IP so no internet is required. You can also view you reports directly from the management console.

Perhaps we could write an application that monitors an email box. This application might be able to read the email, download the file, and then resend the attachment?

  3. You could use our VoIPTools REST API to get access to ALL 3CX historical data to build your own custom reports. Depending on the reporting tool you use (SQL Reporting Services for example), it could automatically email the reports to management.
