Email notification

I've set up email notifications but the last characters are being truncated (by the email server, I think). Is there a way to customize the notification message to shorten it - say by deleting blank lines?

It's not a very long message to begin with. What sort of email service is it that you are using, that limits the number of characters in the body of the message?


Have they told you that there is a limit to the length?


I would be having a talk with them, to get some clarification, if I were you.

I suspected that it might have something to do with an SMS service.

That might be a good feature especially if notifications via text message were ever to become a feature of 3CX.

Have an option, if email notification was enabled on an extension, to select which parts of the message to include...From, To, Received, Duration, and File name. Put a tick box beside each. The subject line already sums up what the first line says..."You have received a new voicemail from ....", so that line could be dropped altogether.
