English Promptset

Hello All

I am now almost done my testing of 3CX and today I was asked by the MD if there was away to get the American lady to change to the UK as some users dont know what the pound key is etc...

So after readying this forum, I went into Settings and Prompt set, I can see at the top it says "Active Promptset" Standard Englsih prompts set but I still get the American lady when I call voicemail etc..

Am i missing something here? our 3CX is still running in free mode so not sure if its that as the MD dosnt want to buy untill he knows it will do everything he wants and so far so good just thses dam prompts..

I have just played one of the prompts under the english set, and its the american lady... Confused lol

First, go to the 3CX sytem updates tab on the left and look for System Prompt Sets. You can then see if you have the UK English Prompt set and if it indicate new, then it means that it is not installed. If it indicates Need Update, then it is installed but there are some updates pending. In any event, download of need be and then go back to your other screen and change the prompt set to the UK version.

I we have v15, and I have downloaded UK English prompt set and made it the active set. But when we dial 6666 for voicemail the nice lady is still US and asking for pound key (which in the UK is £ and not #)
Any idea what I may have forgotten to do?

Please note that you need to set it under extensions / voicemail as well. There are different settings for voicemail prompt that can be different for each extension. Luckily you can select all extensions using the ctrl button and change it for all extensions at once

Thanks for this tip. It's not 100% clear that the prompts need to be flagged in two locations.
