Earlier this year EPOS updated their headset Connect software from 4.x to 7.x. The software has a horrible memory leak in the DSEASDK component. Basically, if one leaves the PC logged in for about 48 hours Windows will run out of virtual memory and crash. The DSEA process does not indicate any extra memory usage at all, but if you end it that frees the memory. "Available Virtual Memory" is visible in Windows' System Information app and AFAIK that's the only place to see this usage since it isn't attached to a process. Workaround is to log out every night. Or, don't upgrade to v7.

Contact EPOS support ([email protected]) to get a fixed version of DSEASDK, or Connect is supposed to be released in May. With the fixed file:
  • Open Task Manager and kill DSEASDK and EPOS Connect processes
  • Download and unzip the new SDK and install
  • Launch EPOS Connect
