Hello
this is probably a multiple request, sorry to bother friends with such a clasical request. I try to be simple:
I reinstalled clean my 3cx version 18. All ok. I could provision fanvill x4, and spa508G cisco.
but nothing moves for my 2 last phones!: a fanvil h2u and a cisco spa598G. As if something changed over the day and stops me from provisionning.

On the 508G i used the classical http://10.0.0.xx/admin/resync? etc... . It shows the reaction of the phone, suggestion to go to the interface but nothing moves!

on the fanvil h2u I hoped to see the phone upnp after a factory reset but it never came.

What could have changed? Any idea would be such an help :-)

Sorry! hera are the details
  • 3CX Version, 18.0 (Build 461) Professional Perpetual
  • Server OS, Windows 11
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? . On-premises
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware version, Cisco SPA508G and Fanvil H2U
  • Provisioning Method: Local
  • Trunk Provider or VoIP Gateway Make/Model,Swisscom smart business connect
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

Lucky me, I have the right platform. I made the mystake of giving you what I had on my local PC.
3cx is installed on a machine with this
Nom du système d’exploitation Microsoft Windows 10 Professionnel
Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044

Funny enough, I could provision the last SPA508G after downgrading the software to 7.6.1 (in fact all my other phones have been upgraded to 7,6.2.

This leaves us with my last problem: A supported phone (Fanvil h2u). I do the factory reset, I try everything, this phone does not provision. What do you check in this type of situation?
Many thanks for your help

The SPA508G is very old and EOL/Legacy so I don't know if I can help you with that.
But 7.6.1 is the version we support, so you were running unsupported firmware previously.

As for your H2U try this:

  1. Power Off the device.
  2. Power On the device.
  3. When the red LED flashes press “#”. The LED should now flash red slowly.
  4. Dial * # 168
  5. The device will reboot into Factory Default settings.

This method will work if you use the latest H2U firmware v2.4.12 supported by 3CX

It worked! Many thanks for your help. If I get it right, I should never have a more recent firmware than the supported one. In this logic I should probably also downgrade my new Grandstream GDS3710 to 1.0.7.24 instead of having their last software and the mention "unsupported" in 3cx...
Practicaly seen this is not realy possible because the GDS3710 arrives with 1.0.11.4 and the available firmware on their site do now allow to downgrade before 1.0.9.9....
Any suggestion?

Hi,

The only suggestion I have for that is to wait until Grandstream sends us the next release.

We have already informed them based on some other customer's feedback.

I will mark this as solved since the original issue was resolved.
