Hello there.
Please help me figure out the error in playing call recordings. After the call, I receive a recording in the form of an MP3 file that is located on the server https://uppercase.3cx.ae/ and I cannot access this file, I get a 403 error ({"type":"https://tools. ietf.org/html/rfc7231#section-6.5.3","title":"Forbidden","status":403,"traceId":"00-ba6b9091509eb040a40add6483f819f0-d7d4157a5e6bc840-00"})

Thanks!

3CX only works with .WAV files, not MP3 files. So if you are getting notifications/links for an MP3 file, it's coming from a 3rd-party application, not directly from 3CX.

Thanks, but I have a link https://uppercase.3cx.ae/webapi/recording/240220170128_1011-1-1.mp3 how can it be a 3rd party service? If I can manage it in the setting please let me know how to do it. Thanks.

You have two challenges:
  1. You cannot access the recording file as shown above without authenticating first. A 403 error indicates you do not have permission to access the file. You might be able to log into the 3CX console first and then access the file since authentication is saved in a cookie, but the cookie will expire so this approach is not going to work generally.

  2. I don't know where you got the link, but it is not a valid link to a 3CX recording because 3CX ONLY WORKS WITH .WAV files. It does not create or work with .mp3 files. Many, many years ago 3CX supported .MP3 files but has not for a very long time.
