Error 408

Need some help, I am seeing this More frequently as of today


SIP Server/Call Manager ID: 12294
Call or Registration to +197XXXXXXXX@([email protected]) has failed. 2xx.xxx.xxx.xxx replied: 408 Request Timeout; from IP:2xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5060

After every outgoing call, most of the calls go through, but i get these error in the log afterwards.

Can someone explain why?

Who does the 2xx.xxx.xxx.xxx IP belong to? If that is Bandwidths IP then that is a question for Bandwidth as the error is coming from them.
Generally a 408 message means that the attempt timed out either because there was no reply from the provider to an outbound invite or because the provider tried to reach the called number but that attempt timed out.
It might also have been a temporary service disruption if the errors started suddenly.
