I am running the debian version of 3cx on vmware . the only issue i have is if the server goes down the auto restart that works well with any windows vm or a regular linux vm doesnt work. Is there some modification or setting that i need to do to get it to work?

I have Autostart running for 5 VMs including 2 SBCs and it works well

What's your OS and did you install open-vm-tools?

You should be able to. Just SSH into it and run "apt install open-vm-tools" then reboot the VM. It will help a lot to make the ESXi work great with it.

What version of ESXi are you running too?

I did this. the autostart still doesnt work

i am on 7 . I just turned it on. didnt change any of the defaults

Send me a screenshot please. If by default, VMs start 120seconds after the system is booted.

Code:
apt-get install open-vm-tools
To Install VMWare Tools, SSH into to VM and run this command as root
