Does anyone know how to change the default port on Exchange UM from 5060 to somthing else so i can install 3cx on the same box.

does not help, i have tried it.
Exchange does not allow traffic from the same IP to the same IP.
It clusters it as fraud and kills the call (you will see it in the windows event logs then).
Even calling MS to disable this was no success to solve the issue.

Hi Guys,

Im looking for the solution to change Exchange 2010 SP1 SIP listening port.

I found info from MS that If I want to change the SIP listening ports from 5060 & 5061 to something else i should make the changes in the msexchangeum.config file.

I found the file but cannot find info on the commands (Keynames) I should put into it to receive my goal.

Can You help me out?

Hi
I have tried allways, but no luck, when I asked Microsoft they informed me that UM could only use 5060, so I installed a seperate machine with Exchange and all good.

Thanks for Your reply Strider,

I think it is as bad as you say.
It is typical MS to release this:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998265.aspx

saying:

SIP (Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging service)
5060 (unsecured)
5061 (secured)
Ports can be changed in the Msexchangeum.config configuration file.

Telling us it can be done, but no one (not even in the Technet forums can tell us how)...

I am currious to hear from "StefanW " from 3CX that says he tested to run 3CX and Exchange 2010 on the same server.
I cant even install 3CX on the same server because 3CX complaints that port 5060 is in use.

The solution is to change 3cx listening ports not exchange. You may also have to set up port forwarding from your sip providers on your firewall but not usually.

Hi
If you set the Exchange UM service to "manual", you will be able to install 3cx and then you can experiment.

Hi
Sorry, forgot to add once service set to manual "stop" it, this will allow you to install, I have 3cx installed on 2K8 SBS and working fine.
