Exchange Sync for Phonebook

created new accounts this morning for sync with exchange 2010, assigned permissions (using Powershell) and I can log in as that user. when it attempts to sync with the user phonebook I get errors.. Have checked user account names, etc - but no dice. I turned logging up to HIGH and I don't see any details... Anyone have theories on how to debug?
