Exclamation Points in Extensions

Good Day,

When 15.5.0 SP6 was applied we had red exclamation points on all extensions. I saw this thread:

And noted the fix which worked for me. However, craigreilly made a comment in that thread about strength of passwords and I wondered if this password strength could be set anywhere in 3CX so when I regenerate it does so to the proper format so this error does not re-occur.

Essentially say when generating a password use 1 letter, number, uppercase letter and be 8 chars, etc. Is this possible?

Its been asked in the IDEAS forum... esp like folks setting VM Password to their extension, or 666, etc.

Hello @Shadragon

Please note that when you regenerate the the passwords of create a new extension the password generated will meet the new standards so once you update the older extensions you will not see the warning again. You cannot manually specify the password complexity but the PBX will automatically generate passwords that meet the new requirements.
