Experience with Minimal Hardware Requirements

Would like to use some "Older PCs" so appreciate user experience with the minimal hardware requirements found for adequate 3CX functioning. Am also interested in what version of Windows you used.

Windows XP with 256 mbyte will suffice, depending on the number of extensions and lines you want to use.

Instead of using an old PC - why not use a virtual machine? Use the Free VMware server, then you can scale it as and when needed.

Alternatively just run it on an existing server, no need to dedicate a machine to it.....

Then use the older pcs as thin clients (http://www.2x.com)
