I had to make some extension numbering changes by recreating the extensions on the 3cx control panel from scratch. Unfortunately, some extensions had saved personal directories. Can they be recovered from a full backup?

You can not restore just the users personal contacts unfortunately.

You can restore the complete backup, but this will overwrite any changes made after the backup was taken.

Ok but what if I restore the backup on a virtual power plant created specifically for this purpose. Can I then export the personal address books?

The solution exists. When you explode the zip file you will find an xml file *Db.xml inside you will find the personal address book of each user so there is certainly a file where you can re-import the data. If I have to recreate a user or change the extension number, can't I bring back the personal directory?

In this case I imported the contacts as a company directory but this is not the correct procedure
