extension custom prompt

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is any possibility to set custom prompt per extension, which can be played when this extension is being directly called.

You have not described why you want this which would help us provide a more thoughtful answer to your question, but I can say there isn't a default feature for this.

You could create a Digital Receptionist (DR) for each extension that plays the desired prompt, and have the DR forward to the actual extension after a timeout of 1 second. This would work for external inbound calls. However, this doesn't help for internal extension to extension calls, nor does it help with the company directory, so you would have to decide whether this would meet your needs.

the copmany would like to have a general custome prompt(one Prompt for all Extention) to greet the Customer, and that cant be executed when an Extension is direcctly dialed.
I've searched and found no feature to do it. I'll try to make an DR and give you the feed back

Then digital receptionist will provide the requested functionality. Just point your main number to the Digital receptionist and record a prompt. You can also assign options for the clients like press 1 for sales or 2 for marketing and direct calls differently depending on the clients preferences
