Hi all,
We're trying to set up some holiday schedules for a customer, and while most of the setup is quite simple there is one aspect that has stumped me.
They will be using a small handful of automated messages to provide callers with contact details and whatnot, but they will differ slightly depending on the regional branch receiving the call.
While I can use a dedicated AA as the destination during holiday hours on each call handling object, (e.g. queues and IVRs), I cannot find such an option for each individual user's DDI.
The most promising thing I could find was the Schedule tab in the user config, but I wasn't clear on where the out-of-hours calls would actually be directed, particularly with Inbound Rules no longer being manually configurable. Would they just go to the individual's voicemail in this case?
I understand that I can temporarily re-assign users' DDI numbers to an AA directly, although I would prefer to minimize the chance of human error (and of course avoid manual out-of-hours work in general).
If anybody has found a nice way to temporarily divert user DDIs using the holiday schedules I would be very grateful for the insight
Thank you
