Hi
We are busy planning for our V20 upgrade(Scheduled for the 4th Sep). I have one instance on V20 and I see that the "Extensions Up" has been removed from the dashboard, this function is very helpful to see how many of the user/phones are registered.
We have a lot of IP phones that we need to monitor daily and all phones are spread across different departments. For the one type of phone we have 3rd party configuration software and displays if the phone is registered or not due to the fact that these phones are not supported by 3CX so we needed to make our own plan to retain the investment of the phones.
My challenge is with the Fanvil phones, we use FDMES(Fanvil device manager) but because we use the 3CX provisioning url for configuring the phones you cannot see it they are registered or not in FDMES, only if they are online or disconnected thus a phone can be online and unregistered and we cannot be proactively check on it.
Is there some way in V20 of tapping into / connecting to an API for extension registration status(not presence) to use in our own monitoring tools,
or is this something that might be on the roadmap for V20?
Any advice will be appreciated
Regards
Renier
