Solved Extension rights won't stay set?

I am trying to set the rights for an extension. If I set the Group Membership to the group I want and hit OK at the top the group membership setting is not saved when I go back in and look at the rights.

Hi IAJack

This section allows you to change the rights per group for this extension (for groups the extension is already a part of).

If you want to change which group the extension belongs to then you have to go to the Groups Tab of the management console, and edit the groups themselves to add or remove an extension from them.

The persons I am wanting to change rights for are already part of the group.

Example:

Christina at 3318 is a member of Comm Development and listed as a manager.


In her ext. rights she is listed as a member of Comm Dev. and a manager.



In "Groups" when I add other extensions as members and managers then that doesn't show on their ext. rights like Christina in the example above.

I want to add other extensions to have the same rights as Christina per the example above.

In Comm Dev Groups the extensions am wanting to add are already listed as Managers for that group, but when I go into the individual ext. they are not listed as a manager or member in the rights?

So do you mean that Steve for example appears as a manger in the Dev Group tab, but if you enter his extension rights section, it still shows him as a user under Dev Group category?

Ok I found the issue, it was something stupid on my part. The extensions I was trying to make only Managers of Comm Dev. were also listed as managers in the default group.
