Hi all,

I am using 3CX 15.5 SP6 with a Jabra Engage 65 Convertible headset on 3CX webclient. Sometimes when I am engaged on a call (internal and/or external) another call rings in my earpiece and is automatically answered. This means I end up with two phone calls at the same time! Any ideas what would be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

hi @PlayerOne

No idea, but I think you would need to disable "Accept Multiple Calls"

Note that the phone in webclient was a beta under V15.5SP6. I would recommend to move to V16 as soon as possible.

Thanks for your response JohnS_3CX.
I have already disabled the "Accept Multiple Calls" option hoping that it would resolve this issue however, it did not. I installed V16 last night so will monitor this issue to see if problem still exists.

You're welcome! Notice that in V16 when selecting Jabra integration via webclient it may prompt you to download some additional software, use the link that will appear and get the software from our site to ensure it is compatible.

On the "Accept multiple calls" matter: This exists in two Statuses (Available and Lunch) so ensure it's disabled on both just in case.

The more interesting question, is where does the second call come from if you are only using the Webclient on your pc and you are not accepting multiple calls?
  • Are you perhaps also using the 3CX Desktop client with "auto answer" enabled?
  • Do you also have a deskphone the is connected directly to the headset and can also poll it?

That's the only other thing I can think of at the moment

Hi,
I have disabled the Accept Multiple Calls option for all statuses. We only use the Webclient, so no possibility of Windows client taking control of calls. Yes, I added the Jabra headset integration as it will not work without this add-in.

I have upgraded to ver 16 so will now monitor this.

Thanks

Good to hear, let us know how it goes.
