Hello,
With the Activity Log level set to Verbose, is there any record of extension's changing their status?

I have a user that is reporting her phone was not on DND but the way the call was routed would indicate it was. I'm just trying to see if there is anyway to verify what the status was at the time of that call.

Thanks

Are you using Office 365 integration?

No, they are not.

I've dug through the log files but haven't found anything. I did find a line that showed the extension number of the ring group the call was forwarded to and the only time calls are sent to that ring group is when a particular extension is in the DND status. So, I'm satisfied that I know what happened.
However, I'd like to be able to show the client where the status were changed triggering the forward.

@pmterp With the Activity Log set to Verbose, you will see lines for the call indicating if a forwarding rule was applied.

For example:
04/22/2019 12:40:03 PM - [Flow] Call(C:102): applied forwarding rule (Fwd[Out of office/AllCalls]) Extn:101 -> VMail:999

It seems that the "Out of Office" portion lines up with the DND profile if it was set to Away it would show "Away" instead.

If no forwarding rule was applied to the call then it would show:
04/22/2019 12:44:27 PM - [Flow] Endpoint Extn:101 has no forwarding rule on reason 'All calls'

Though this doesn't show when the profile was changed but instead what was used during the call in question.

Thanks, I did find that entry and shared it with the client explaining the extension's DND status is what caused the forwarding rule to be applied.
The user is of course claiming they had not engaged the DND status.

I'm not sure to well understand this extension has been found in DND status, should have gone usually in DND with autoswitch ? or is it anormal way to find it in DND and finally you think this is customer action who DND alone the phone?

Since V16 update , If you found phone in DND and no one has explaination why it is in this status, we posted last week for same situation with phones in RG coming into DND alone

Hello and thanks for the response.
It is interesting to see others have had possibly similar situations. This client doesn't have business hours setup and is not using auto-switch.

The information you are looking can be accessed by using the 3CX Bin Log Viewer if the logging level was set to verbose at the time of the switch and if no services were restarted in the meantime.

You should see an entry similar to the following:

Code:
23/04/2019 11:06:54:079 | 11 | Device's (<sip:[email protected]:7068>) DND state is DNDon for Extn:001
23/04/2019 11:06:54:079 | 11 | Extn:001: Starting DND change transaction to DNDon requested from a device
23/04/2019 11:06:54:433 | 11 | Extn:001: Switch profile to DNDon
23/04/2019 11:06:54:440 | 9 | OverrideExt.001 has inactive profile override
23/04/2019 11:06:54:440 | 9 | Extn:001: Profile is set to DNDon

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I needed and I was able to locate the lines enabling and disabling DND.

So who was guilty ?;)
