Hello together,

we are experiencing problems with users/extensions, that are shown as online with their last chosen status, even if there is no phone really online or connected. Most of our users in customer service are only working with a 3CX Desktop App oder Webclient on a Windows Terminalserver forget to log off from the queue after work. That shouldn't be a problem, when they log out from Terminalserver, because the softphone disconnects. But the moment (I don't really know since when, I just received the message about this issue today) users are still shown as online. There are many users shown as "not registered" as well, but I don't really know why.
Can anybody explain this to me?
In 80% of cases, it can be assumed that the users do not have an active smartphone app.

Hi @PhilK,

Since Update 3, the PUSH notifications option ensures that the client remains logged in even after closing. What you can do is exit the client by clicking on the Picture then choosing Exit Client. (https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v18-update-3-final/)

Another option is to disable PUSH notifications entirely.

Hi @VasilisV_3CX,

thank you for your fast answer! That seems to work, but I don't have any informations about users who use the 3CX phone app. Are those users affected for smartphone push notifications with this setting, or is this setting only about Web- and Softclients?

@VasilisV_3CX,
I also wonder if the desktop push notifications only for 3CX Desktop App are affected by this option, or are they working fine? (When the user is working and online)

If you exit the webclient using the method highlighted previously, your mobile client will be unaffected.

The blog post PUSH notification apply only for the Web Client or PWA client, so the Desktop App would remain unaffected.
