External Video Calls from 3CX

I'm testing external video calls from 3CX extensions (using the mobile phone apps or video-enabled IP phones to video phones on other SIP systems. but it doesn't seem to work.

anyone has experience with that?

I'd appreciate any feedback.

You're trying to use the Click2Talk video call feature? Can you walk me through how you set it up?

When you say it doesn't work, how far does it get, can you describe where it doesn't continue to work?

Because you need more than juste "video calling" feature.

1. The trunk provider needs to support it (H264 or VP8.)
2. The trunk config must be set to uncheck "Disallow Video Calls".
3. The other side's trunk must also support it and be configured accordingly.
4. Both phones on each sides need to have a common codec with the trunks.

Also, small notes:
- The Webclient supports VP8 and H264.
- The mobile app ONLY SUPPORTS VP8.

I realize this might not be "100% supported by 3CX". I'm looking for user experiences
