I am running Version 18.0 Update 5 (Build 418)

When I start an SMS and send a message I am getting 40013 errors from telnyx because the source number is not in e164. If I first receive an SMS from an outside number then I can reply to the message and do not get an error from telynx.


I searched around for that message or related issues and everything I've found references an older version of 3cx where the SMS outbound route had settings. But not since the SMS is setup under the trunk I don't see how to modify the source number format.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Your DID needs to be set as E164 with the + in front. That's why it's not sending.
