Failover and Win Client provisioning

Hello guys,

we are having issues with Win Client v 16 and its provisioning (registration) after its switched to passive instance (webclient, phones are registered in couple of minutes) but Win Client is not.

Do you have any advice how to make it working or what needs to be done?

For sure once its switched back to active instance its registered back.

Hi @Martin N.

Does your Windows Client have the internal and external locations set to your FQDN? Click Settings >> Configure Accounts >> Double click your account and check the internal / external entries under My Location.

This field is empty, rest of the fields are set properly, but weird thing is that it also happen by my client from outside, and this setting is set correctly wiht our FQDN.



Is there a way how to update this part for all extensions centrally?

What do you have under that Extension >> Edit >> Phone provisioning >> 3CX App >> Network interface for registration and provisioning?

To update: @Martin N. and I communicated via PM and went over the options for this particular failover scenario. I've asked Martin to test if the solution provided works for him, at which time I will update the thread with the outcome.
