I've put together two scripts for the failover procedure that will update our public and private DNS A Record; one that points to the failover IP (offsite), and the other that'll point everything back to the primary, as far as the scripts go everything works great. Now that I am going to plug them into the passive server I'm noticing that there is only a place for "Script to launch BEFORE services start" and "Scipt to launch AFTER services start", I assume I can put the failover script in either of those, but when my primary system is back online how can I launch the failback script to point things back to the primary?

Hello @vizualpro

Failover has the ability to switch from the primary server to the secondary. That is automated as the selected services are monitored and the server knows when to switch.
However switching back to primary has to be done manually, so the DNS script must also be run manually when you want to switch back to the primary server.

Thank you for the direct answer @YiannisH_3CX

Having a fully automated failover & failback plan is the end game. If anybody has a workaround that's been working for them I'd love to hear about your setup.
